Rich Rediker has been passionate about education since beginning his career as a chemistry teacher at Longmeadow High School. As personal computers were first becoming available, he left the classroom to found Hampden-based Rediker Software, an international company that provides administrative and communication software to schools in more than 100 countries. As CEO, Rich travels extensively to visit schools and attend educational conferences worldwide. He has always enjoyed learning from the best ideas he encountered abroad and bringing those insights back to his local community. While his three daughters attended HWRSD, Rich served on the Regional School Committee in the early 1990s. Thirty years later, he returned to the committee with the same commitment: to ensure that all students can benefit from the latest advances in education and technology.
