Dear Parents of Eighth Grade Students,

In the coming few days I will be giving all students the information packet on this year’s class excursion to Washington D.C. The dates of the class excursion are Tuesday – Friday, June 8th – 11th.

All of the information about the excursion is included in the packet. The registration deadline for the excursion is November 2 nd. To assist your family in the decision making process, I have organized two parent information night meetings for your convenience. You only need to attend ONE of these meetings. They are on Tuesday, September 29 th, at 7:00 p.m. in the cafeteriaor Thursday, October 1 st at 7:00 p.m. in the auditorium. The purpose of the meeting is to explain the excursion and answer any questions you might have.

I hope you will consider attending one of these meetings to learn more about the excursion before making a final decision. On the back of this letter, I have put the eligibility rules for students to participate. Please refer to these rules and expectations.
