2007 Summer Reading Suggestions
The lists below represent my favorites for summer reading. Some titles are new; some are "old classics." Many are award winners and/or appear on "Best Books Lists." They include fiction and exciting non-fiction and are organized by grade level. Enjoy!!
ACCELERATED READING TEST LISTS ARE NOW AVAILABLE ON-LINE
Many schools in the district use the Accelerated Reading software program.
PUT THESE ON YOUR "MUST READ" LIST
MRS. B. recommends these books for 5th and 6th graders. Put them on your "Must Read" list.
AND THE WINNERS ARE.
On January 17, 2005, the American Library Association announced the winners of the Caldecott Medal and the Newbery Medal.
NEW FICTION FOR YOUNG ADULT READERS
These new fiction titles provide good reading for young adults.
