2007 Pioneer Valley Distinguished Teachers

The Hampden-Wilbraham Regional School District proudly announces recipients of the Pioneer Valley Excellence in Teaching Award for 2007. The Award was created to honor teachers in Western Massachusetts who demonstrate enthusiasm about and excellence in the teaching profession. The awardees were selected by a committee of local administrators and past recipients based on criteria related to excellence in teaching, professional development, contributions beyond the classroom, and respect by peers, parents, and students.

The HWRSD Pioneer Valley Excellence in Teaching Award recipients for 2007 are:

Laura Murphy, Grade Six Teacher
