School Committee Members : Scott Chapman, Chair; William Bickley, Marianne Desmond, and Gilles Turcotte.
Administrators : Paul Gagliarducci, Donna Scanlon and Beth Regulbuto
Guests: Sherrill Caruana, Finalist for Stony Hill School Principal; Doug Farmer, The Times; Suzanne McLaughlin, Springfield Republican; Ed Gorski, Hampden resident.
Absent : D. John McCarthy, Lisa Morace, Peter Salerno and Student Representatives

Mr. Chapman called the meeting to order at 7:00.

       There were no comments.

    1. Interview Candidate for Principal of Stony Hill School
       The Committee welcomed and interviewed Mrs. Sherrill Caruana, who is Dr. Gagliarducci’s recommended finalist for the Principal position at Stony Hill Elementary School. Mrs. Caruana, a 15 year employee in the District, reviewed her background, including her work in Watts during the 1960s and Covenant House in New York City. The Committee thanked Mrs. Caruana for attending and congratulated her on her new position.

As there was no need for Executive Session, Mr. Chapman asked for a motion to adjourn. The meeting adjourned at 7:22 p.m.
